The Mobile Forensics Certified Examiner (MFCE) is a process which certifies the methodologies used by an examiner to preserve, acquire, examine, analyze, and report findings related to mobile devices and associated digital media. Forensic examiners understand that there is no single solution to the examination of a mobile device. Because of the usage of many tools and devices, we must consider the process of the examination, not the tool or device that extracted the data. Any one tool to become certified to its usage will not make the examiner an expert in the field of mobile examinations, but certifying the examiners process will! Mobile Forensics, Inc. has identified this need and is now offering a course of study to obtain this certification.
Earning the MFCE provides the digital evidence examiner recognition and validation as to their competency in conducting examinations regardless of which software or hardware solution is implemented.
Please continue through the site for more information on the MFCE process.
