The MFCE process is comprised of six (6) projects and a final exam. Each project is worth ten (10) percent of the final grade with the final written exam worth forty (40) percent.

The goal of the Mobile Forensics Certified Examiner process is to weigh heavily on the practical application and examinations. All students must receive one hundred (100) percent on all practical projects and eighty-five (85) percent on the written exam to complete the testing phase.

At the completion of the testing phase, the student MUST receive peer, or supervisory review of at least four (4) actual mobile device examinations at the company/agency that they are employed by. If someone is not available or qualified at the company/agency, Mobile Forensics, Inc. will conduct the review.

Upon completion of the required actual mobile device examinations, the reviewer will execute and submit a declaration indicating the case numbers reviewed to Mobile Forensics, Inc. Once the testing phase and required peer reviews are completed, the certification process is complete and the MFCE achieved.

All projects that include property of Mobile Forensics, Inc, i.e. phones, cables, SIM cards, digital media etc. must be returned seven (7) days after receipt by the MFCE candidate. Each project must be successfully completed a maximum of fourteen (14) days after receiving it in order to progress to the next project. The student will have six (6) months to complete the entire MFCE process, including the four (4) peer-reviewed cases.

If the process is not completed within the prescribed time period, the tuition fee is forfeited and the student must restart the process.
